2. Hosting and access data
This website is hosted by STRATO. Technically necessary data is processed when it is accessed. This includes, in particular, your IP address, access date and time, requested page or file, amount of data transferred, status message, browser and operating system, and, where applicable, the previously visited page (referrer).
Processing serves to deliver the website, ensure technical stability and prevent attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure operation of this website. STRATO processes hosting data as a technical service provider. STRATO states that it stores visitors' IP addresses for a maximum of seven days to detect and prevent attacks. IP addresses or hostnames are anonymised in the access logs provided to website operators.

3. Cookies, fonts and embedded services
This website itself sets no cookies and uses neither Google Analytics nor other analytics or advertising scripts. Images and design files are loaded from our own webspace. Fonts are selected from those available on your device. No third-party maps, videos or social-media elements are embedded. The website does not perform cross-browser recognition or profiling.
4. Contact and booking enquiries
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the information you provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number, travel dates and enquiry details. We need this information to respond to your enquiry and, where applicable, prepare or handle a booking.
For steps prior to entering into a contract and for contract performance, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other enquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in handling your message. Where consent is required and has been given, processing is based on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Statutory retention obligations are based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
The email buttons open your own email application. The website itself does not transmit form data. Data is only shared where required for handling your request or providing the technical service, where there is a legal obligation, or where you have consented. Unencrypted email may pose security risks; you may also contact us by telephone.
5. Retention periods and provision of data
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations. Once the purpose no longer applies or the retention period expires, the data is deleted unless another legal basis for retention exists.
You do not need to provide contact details simply to visit the website. Certain information may be required to respond to an enquiry or conclude and fulfil a booking. If necessary information is not provided, it may not be possible to handle an enquiry or enter into a contract.
6. Your rights
Subject to the legal conditions, you have the right to access and obtain a copy of your personal data (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18) and data portability (Article 20). To exercise these rights, please contact the controller named above.
You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Right to object: Where we process data under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object under Article 21 GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation. Where data is processed for direct marketing, you may object at any time without giving reasons.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR), particularly in the place of your habitual residence, place of work or an alleged infringement. In North Rhine-Westphalia, this is the North Rhine-Westphalia Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
7. Automated decisions
We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling, in connection with this website.
